MT. INAYAWAN RANGE NATURAL PARK

The Mt. Inayawan Range Natural Park (MIRNP) is Lanao Del Norte's largest remaining rainforest and a critical watershed, home to diverse wildlife, including the Philippine Eagle. As a vital ASEAN heritage park, it provides essential resources and showcases rich biodiversity, which is protected through ongoing conservation efforts.

MT. MALINDANG RANGE NATURAL PARK

Spanning 53,263 hectares, the Mt. Malindang Range Natural Park is home to dense forests, crater lakes, waterfalls, and a diverse array of flora and fauna, including the Philippine Eagle and Philippine Tarsier. Dominated by seven major peaks, it was designated the 29th ASEAN Heritage Park in 2011, protecting over 25 endemic mammal species and supporting vital wildlife conservation efforts.

DIOYO RIVER CRUISE

Dioyo River in Sapang Dalaga, Misamis Occidental, is famed for its emerald-green waters, lush mangrove sanctuary, and enchanting river cruise. The journey features bioluminescent plankton, a visit to the Caluya Shrine with its 55-foot Christ the Redeemer statue, and breathtaking sunset views of Murcielagos Bay.

HAWKSBILL TURTLE

The critically-endangered hawksbill turtles frequently return to the shores of Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental, to lay their eggs, leading the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) to designate the area as a critical habitat. These turtles are vital to marine biodiversity, and conservation efforts protect their nesting sites, offering a rare chance to witness hatchlings make their way to the sea.

RAFFLESIA

One of the world’s biggest flowers reaching 80cm in diameter, this endangered beauty is best enjoyed from a distance because of its distinct pungent scent. Sightings of this rare bloom have been recorded in the municipalities of Baungon and Lantapan, Bukidnon, at the foot of the Mt. Kitanglad Range Natural Park.

BINAKI

A must-try in Bukidnon, binaki is a steamed corn cake that is both delicious and a highlight of theregion’s agriculture. “Binaki” means “frog-like” in the local dialect, referring to the cake’s distinct shape.

SUMAN SA CLARIN

Clarin House of Suman, located in Misamis Occidental, is famous for its wide variety of suman, including flavors like ube, langka, mango, and durian. Established in 2009, it has become a popular spot for locals and tourists, selling 3,000 to 5,000 pieces daily, along with other kakanin and sweet treats

CHICKEN SUROL

Chicken Surol, a traditional dish from Camiguin, is similar to Tinolang Manok but creamier due to coconut milk. It features kalabo (Mexican oregano) for a minty flavor, though it is often replaced with lemongrass or local oregano. Variations may include pork, beef, and seafood.

SINUGLAW

Sinuglaw is a unique dish that combines grilled pork and fish with vinegar, lemon, and local ingredients like tabon-tabon. This Mindanawon favorite is enhanced with cucumbers, chilis, and peppercorns, giving it a distinct citrusy flavor.
