CENTRAL LUZON

Known as the Central Plains of Luzon, Region III, has the longest continuous lowland area in the country and produces one-third of the Philippines’ rice. It features towering mountains, volcanoes, verdant farmlands, and natural sea reefs across seven provinces: Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Zambales.

Adventure seekers can explore the crater lake of Mt. Pinatubo or trek the forests of Mt. Tapulao, while nature enthusiasts can visit the Pawikan Conservation Center in Bataan or the Tibu Tidal Pools in Aurora. The region offers rich gastronomic experiences, including the iconic Sisig in Pampanga, the adventurous Kamaru, and a vibrant local coffee culture.
