CAGAYAN VALLEY

The Cagayan Valley Region, located in northeastern Luzon, serves as a gateway for trade and culture with East Asia. This undeveloped region, covering about 9% of the country’s land, boasts rich agriculture, forest land, mineral, and marine resources. Protected by the Cordilleras, Caraballo, and Sierra Madre mountain ranges, the region features the Cagayan River, the country’s longest river.

Region II comprises five provinces: Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, and Quirino, with 90 municipalities, four cities, and 2,311 barangays. The region’s natural beauty and strategic location offer significant development potential.
